Warranty Terms

§ 1 Warranty Period and Scope
hm-sat GmbH provides a warranty of 2 to 6 years on technical devices (depending on the product description).
- Start date: Date of handover (for mail-order purchases: handover to the carrier).
- Additional protection: Applies in addition to your statutory warranty rights.
- Replacement parts: Warranty period ends with the warranty period of the main device.
§ 2 Scope of Warranty
In the event of a material defect, we will provide free repair or replacement at our discretion. Please note:
- Easily breakable parts (glass, plastic, bulbs) are excluded.
- No warranty for damage caused by abnormal environmental conditions, misuse or lack of maintenance.
- Costs for removal and installation as well as lost profits are excluded.
§ 3 Obligations in the Event of a Warranty Claim
If a warranty case arises, please notify us immediately in writing. Presentation of the original invoice is mandatory to assert a warranty claim.

§ 4 Expiry of Warranty
The warranty claim expires in the event of use not in accordance with the intended purpose, intervention by unauthorised persons, or the use of non-original replacement parts that lead to a defect.
§ 5 Statutory Warranty Rights
Your statutory rights (subsequent performance, withdrawal, reduction) remain fully intact. The statutory warranty period for consumers is two years from delivery of the goods (§§ 434 ff. BGB).
